Welcome!

Blue Moon Yoga, located above the popular Blue Moon Market & Café, in the heart of downtown Exeter, was born out of a desire to not only feed our body but nourish our soul. Yoga and other holistic-healing classes and workshops have been offered to the community since 2002. The café, store and studio together seek to promote health, personal empowerment, community building, environmental stewardship and spiritual awakening.

With a mission to provide high quality instruction, all of our Yoga teachers are certified and registered with the Yoga Alliance. Teachers are trained in different Yoga traditions, and we encourage you to read their class descriptions and bios and, most importantly, drop-in on a class to meet them and begin a relationship. Though you are welcome to sample classes in order to find the right “fit” for your needs and schedule, it is most effective to commit to one teacher over a longer period of time. Our teachers are dedicated to not only teaching the practices of Yoga (poses, relaxation, breathing, meditation) but to living and modeling its philosophy. The student-teacher relationship is an age-old and powerful exchange, though which you will gain the most on your Yoga journey.

Come participate in our workshops, where you will meet other community members as well as learn from local health practitioners. Topics include various Yoga topics and practices, Reiki, Tai Chi, Natural Cleaning, Children’s Activities, Tarot, Dreams, Dance, Prenatal and Parenting Issues, Herbal and Plant Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Environmental Sustainability, Positive Thinking and Intention, Homeopathy, Chiropractic, Intuition, Nutrition, Raw Foods, etc!
