Classical Yoga & Meditation- All Levels with Julie Rost, RYT~ This class welcomes students of all levels- both the true beginner, and the more experienced students interested in a reminder of proper alignment, breathing, and meditation techniques. We will discuss inspiring Classical Yoga philosophy, and learn how to bring the spirit of Yoga both into our practice, and our daily lives.
Classical Yoga & Meditation– All Levels with Lisa Burk-McCoy~ Following the Classical Yoga tradition, this class begins with a brief discussion of yoga philosophy, followed by rhythmic movement with the breath to build flexibility and strength while reducing stress and tension in the body. Poses are modified for all levels to allow for the exploration of alignment and awareness. The session is ended with guided relaxation, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques that will leave you feeling refreshed, balanced and unified in body, mind and spirit.

Classical Yoga & Meditation- All Levels with Sally Sugatt~ For our summertime yoga class we will turn our focus to the mind: what afflicts our mind and what sustains a quiet, serene mind. Our brief discussions will be balanced by an asana, pranayama and meditation practice for the body and soul. All levels will be accommodated and all are welcome!
Classical Yoga & Meditation- Intermediate with Julie Rost, RYT~ This class requires some experience with Yoga poses, but accommodates varying levels of flexibility and fitness. Join us if you are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Yoga, including more advanced breathing techniques, breath variations within poses, holding poses longer, more advanced postures (always within your flexibility), explorations of personal spirituality and mind-body union, and various relaxation and meditation exercises. For serious students with various abilities, ready to come with an open mind and experience bliss!
Introduction to Yoga with a BMY Instructor~ This class will explore the basics of Classical Yoga, beginning with a brief talk about Yoga philosophy, including the meaning of “Yoga”, mindfulness, breath awareness, and Yoga’s moral observances. Each class will include practice in breathing, gentle beginner Yoga postures/ stretches, relaxation and meditation. This is perfect for those who have no experience with Yoga, or those who would like to refresh their understanding of the basics. Instructors can modify poses for all levels of ability. Student teachers who are near the end of their 200– hour training will be sharing their new skills and fresh energy for Yoga. Come join us! FREE/ Donations gratefully accepted.
Kripalu Yoga & Meditation- All Levels with Maddy Bottari Eaton, RYT~ Kripalu Yoga revitalizes the body, calms the mind, and deepens self awareness. A balanced sequence of postures stretches and strengthens the entire body releasing chronic tension that so often dulls vitality. During relaxation energy flows to the areas in your body most in need of rejuvenation and healing. You leave class balanced and energized to resume your life, and naturally motivated to sustain your practice. Regular yoga practice takes you to deeper levels initiating a gradual process of growth and transformation. Modifications offered for varying levels of ability. All are welcome.
Lunchtime Yoga with Lisa Burk-McCoy~ Tired and tense after an entire day of hard work? Need a mid-day break to recharge and prepare for your afternoon? Relax and refresh yourself with yoga. Experience gently held yoga poses combined with rhythmic movement to stretch and strengthen your muscles and relieve tension in your joints. Explore the power of the breath to relax your mind and body. Finish with guided relaxation and meditation, and you’ll return to your day feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever may come. Consider grabbing a light and healthy meal at the Blue Moon café below the studio on your way out to round out the perfect lunch break! This class is modified for all levels.
Morning Yoga with Lisa Rockenmacher, RYT~ Welcome the day with yoga! This class is for all levels focusing on flexibility, strength, and the mind-body connection. You will also learn stress reducing and immune enhancing techniques to keep you feeling your best. Align yourself with joy. Everyone is welcome!
Yoga Basics with Pam Herring~ This class is for beginners to Yoga, or those wishing to review or come back to the basics of Yoga, including the fundamentals of Yoga philosophy, proper breathing, stretches that lead to proper alignment in Yoga postures, relaxation exercises and meditation techniques. Come with a beginner’s mind, open to learning and reconnecting with your Self. This class is a great place to start before attending Intermediate or All Levels classes. No experience is needed, and modifications can be provided to any student, regardless of ability, flexibility or experience.
