Meditation Programs

group_meditatingAre you interested in learning more about meditation? Do you want to find peace of mind through an in-depth exploration of the inner-landscape? Are you ready to understand the roots of positive thinking, enhance your spiritual understanding, and quiet the monkey mind? Recent scientific studies are now showing what Yogi's have known all along - a regular meditation practice can make you happier, healthier and even smarter!

These unique courses are for the Beginner to Intermediate students who want to learn stress reduction techniques via the practice of meditation. Whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for some time, we will help you set a solid groundwork for well being in the body and mind, and define a long-term approach that will deepen your connection to self and others.

There are three programs each year. Join us for one, or all—there is no required order for taking the courses. Each provides the foundation, inspiration and community support for personal meditation practice, while providing a focus on one of the following aspects of meditation:

  • Fall: Preparing the Mind for Meditation
  • Winter/Spring: The Six Types of Meditation
  • Summer: Skills for Maintaining a Personal Meditation Practice

Class structure includes discussion, gentle yoga stretching, breathing, relaxation and meditation practices.
